They love Him.

They love Jesus.

A lot.

The people at The Exchange worship Him like no other.

First, they sing.

And then they sing some more.

(I love the grain in this one!)

Since I've been attending all summer, the church asked me to photograph during one of the praise and worship services.

When you walk in the building, you know that everything about this church is intentional.

From the music...

To the Scripture....

The response is "awe"(-some).

(I'm such a techy person...)
No service is made a reality without the support of the tech crew. Thanks guys for making it possible!

The talented worship leader just happens to be my sister. Hmm... wonder how that happened. :)

Last night was special; they had communion as a group.

Somehow, communion puts things in perspective.

During the entire service, Nick painted this canvas. And he did an amazing job. (Go check out his website at www.ignite-art.com! It's awesome!)

Hope.

The mark of a good artist is dirty hands.

I love hands.

 And I love the Exchange.

And I love how they love Jesus.

Ella | 2011 Senior

Ella is adorable. I met her at Awana this past year, so when she contacted me about doing pictures - I was thrilled! We met downtown at the U of M campus; she loves funky architecture!

Ella is adorable.

She's usually pretty camera shy, but I convinced a few smiles out of her. :)

I love this one!

So, I have quirky ideas. A lot. Not all of them work all the time... but I go for it anyway! They randomly pop into my head. And it's weird.
And scary.
As soon as I saw these bicycle racks, I just knew I wanted her inside them! I love the effect...

Those steps were scary! Ella only climbed them after I tested them out...
Thankfully, no one died. :)

Thanks for letting me go crazy with you, Ella! I hope you like them. :)

My life in a photo.

This is my life.

Hope. School. Grief. Jesus. Work. Joy. Chemo. Jesus. Homework. Birthday. Peace. Photoshoots. Stress. Jesus. Missing my poor neglected instruments. Jesus. Tears. Hospitals. Trusting. Sleep. Jesus. Hope.

This is my life.

Do you know the One who upholds me?

Psalm 37:24
Though he stumble, he will NOT fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Jesus.

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand." - John 10:28-29

The Schneibels | Family photographer

It's so hard for me to pick pictures. I have such a hard time narrowing them down.

So... today's post will be quite big. 30 pictures big.

This family is absolutely gorgeous. They are my first repeat customers! :)

I did their boys last summer.... and I got the blessing of doing them again last weekend.

First of all... let me freak out about the light. GORGEOUS!

Next... I'll freak out about the moments that happened. All together now... "Awwwww...."

The colors, light, location, people... it all works. I'm in love.

[Insert bliss here.... ]

Then, I'll freak out about the kids.

And the eyes!! Oh my...

He's already a ladies man... :)

Some families don't interact well. They are awkward, forced, and overall unnatural.

Unnatural doesn't belong in this family's vocabulary.

Except for maybe the wide stance... :)

Like last year, we had to do bench pictures.

Yay for benches! :)

They come to this park all the time. That's why we did pictures there.

Can't you tell that they love it?

I want boys with eyes like these.

I think I might adopt them.

Too bad they're taken.
